• In this painting, I want to paint a calm, night view of the islands in Hong Kong, a memory from an evening cruise at sea. The single flower creates an illusion of a setting sun, or a rising moon, overlapping the distant landscape.
  • The flowers in a vase to me represents the comfort of home. Here, from the comfort of home I am looking at the Hong Kong coastlines, and the journey beyond.
  • This is my first large painting. The dark background is almost abstract and depicted a night scene of Giverny, with the bright fireworks like flowers overlaid on top to form a dramatic dialogue.
