William has been participating in life painting sessions, where the model’s pose is random and not determined by William. William however turned it into something very specific by adding the message “Para Site Auction 2022” on the iPad, giving the classic nude depiction a contemporary context that is bizarrely ordinary. William incorporated a custom made frame and considers it part of the artwork.
